About Anne

I have a career spanning 39 years: 8 years learning my profession as a management trainee, gaining experience in all departments within a successful wholesale company, progressing to the role of assistant to the Financial Director.
I then embarked on 20 years, as a Partner, building a successful accountancy partnership.

During this time, our client base consisted of a wide and varied range of professional, commercial, manufacturing and industrial businesses: providing me with invaluable experience and insight into business practices and systems.

In 2013, having provided over 14 years support to one particular client, I was invited to take on a full time role within their business. This role, however, was not limited to finance and accountancy support, but instead called upon my accumulated experience and insight into “what makes a successful business”. My role diversified beyond finance and into commercial, legal, contractual, negotiation, business set up, systems implementation and management, project management, team motivation, HR…to name but a few.

I have had numerous Directorships during my career and I take seriously, my Statutory responsibilities of office. I understand that being a Director means more than just a title - it means to “direct”, both the business as an entity and my colleagues, in their roles.

My career to date, has been built on a bedrock of dedication, motivation, organisation, logic and the understanding that in order for any business to succeed, it needs to have logical, clear, efficient systems in place, good communication throughout the workforce and for each individual to understand where they fit in the business model and how their role impacts the success or failure of the business.

Beyond my dedication and love of my career, I spend my downtime enjoying keeping fit, spending hours walking my dogs, avidly supporting my son’s rugby career and love nothing more than spending time, with family, friends and colleagues, sharing stories and laughs over a few pints of Guinness!

About Adie

Hello, I'm Adie Webster, a former engineer and serviceman with a passion for solving complex problems and developing innovative business solutions. With over three decades of experience in both the military and corporate sectors, I have cultivated a deep understanding of business management, planning and problem solving.

I proudly served for 24 years in the British Army with the Royal Electrical Mechanical Engineers, completing multiple operational tours around the world. Throughout my military career, I took every opportunity to continue my professional and personal development, earning a Master’s degree in Earth Science and becoming an Incorporated Engineer (IEng).

Since retiring from the Army in 2010 as a Senior Warrant Officer, I’ve successfully transitioned into the corporate world, bringing with me a robust military management toolset and leadership qualities that have proven invaluable in strategic planning and business management. My experience in leading teams, making high-stakes decisions, and fostering collaboration under pressure has seamlessly translated into my role as a senior manager. In this position, I’ve been responsible for driving strategic development, optimising support solutions, enhancing quality systems, and managing through-life support across a diverse product range.

The unique perspective I gained at the interface between defence and industry has allowed me to contribute effectively to business operations, guiding organisations toward operational excellence and long-term success.

Outside of work, I’m an avid SCUBA diver and love capturing the wonders of the night sky through astrophotography.
